Kapsiywa Secondary School has received Kshs.100 million from President Uhuru Kenyatta to build a new library as a reward to marathoner champion Eliud Kipchoge. Education CS Prof. George Magoha handed the cheque to the school on behalf of the President.
Professor Magoha applauded the marathoner and said that the government is committed to assist the school in honor of Kipchoge. The CS said that the President will visit the school within the next six month to commission the library.
The CS used the occasion to reveal that 2019 KCSE results will be released before Christmas.
Kipchoge put Kenya on the world map by running for 42 Kms in under 2 hours at the Ineos 1:59 challenge on October 12 in Vienna, Austria.
