Kenya is on the verge of being subjected to a lockdown after the number of COVID-19 cases keep on increasing.
There have been persistent calls to the President to lockdown the entire country to curtail new coronavirus infections.
Several counties across the country have started crafting their own ways to fight the pandemic. For instance in Muranga, Governor Mwangi Wa Iria has blocked all passenger vehicles from entering the County.
In Trans Nzoia County, residents were given 3-hour ultimatum on Thursday by the County Commissioner to vacate the town.
Supermarkets and shops in Kitale town will remain closed. Small Scale traders have already been evicted from the town.
